I wanted to share the club opening schedule for the rest of the season.
We’ll be closed on Easter Monday then we’ll be open each Monday through to the end of May, including the bank holidays.

Hello,
I’m moving to Oxford in August and am already looking forward to joining the club at that point. Do I interpret this news item correctly in that there is no chess in Oxford at all throughout the summer? Why not?

Hi Raimund, yes correct no regular club nights in August, the summer holidays are always a bit quieter. Though we will probably have a couple of events in the summer. If you’d like to be on our mailing list so you can get details of these and the September reopening times then do let me know.
